Letting Agents - information
This page summarises important information of value to Agents acting on behalf of housholders in 1-19 Learmonth Gardens & 1-23 South Learmonth Gardens. If you require any further information, please contact any LGA committee member.
Key information involves:
- Payment of the annual subscription to the LGA.
- Ensuring tenants understand the rules for using the gardens.
- Agreeing key arrangments with tenants.
- This web site contains more information for residents, you are encouraged to inform tenants of its value.
LGA SUBSCRIPTION
A fundamental obligation on the housholder is to pay the annual subscription to the LGA. This is a legal obligation on the householder. The householder may agree otherwise with the tenant, but ensuring payment of the subscription reaches the LGA remains the obligation of the householder. Information on the current subscription levels can be obtained elsewhere on this web site - click the link on the LHS.
This legal obligation can be most conveniently met if letting agents keep the LGA informed of their role and on whose behalf they are operating. An email communication from the LGA can be set up to keep you informed of relevant information.
GARDEN RULES
The gardens are a beautiful amentity for all residents. To ensure the gardens are kept in good condition, guidelines on their use are available. Agents should ensure tenants are informed about these guidelines. It is recommended that compliance with the guidelines is made a condition of the tenancy.
KEYS
The householder can agree to give the tenant a key or not. Only one key should be available per household. Additional keys can be obtained from the LGA Treasurer, at cost.
