General Information

These private gardens between the streets of Learmonth Gardens & South Learmonth Gardens in Edinburgh are owned jointly by the householders in the properties:

1-19 Learmonth Gardens, EH4 [Nos 1-9: postcode is EH4 1HD; Nos 10-19: postcode: EH4 1HB], 1-23 South Learmonth Gardens, EH4 [Nos 1-8: postcode: EH4 1EY; Nos 9-23: EH4 1EZ].

The Gardens and cover an area of approx 2 acres. The main area is a grassed 'avenue' running East-West, bounded by mature trees and shrubberies on either side. The Gardens have over eighty mature trees, including some of the finest remaining Elms in Edinburgh.

Locked access gates are on both north & south sides of the Gardens; keys are issues to all eligible households. All relevant households pay an annual subscription for the ongoing maintenance of the gardens.

All residents in the eligible households and their guests have exclusive rights to use the Gardens; access is not available to any other person.

Management of the Gardens is organised by the Learmonth Gardens Association, the committee of which is made up of volunteers from the residents, appointed at each Annual General Meeting of the Association.
