How do we collect personal information? Subscription form The subscription process involves us collecting personal information. We use this information to contact you regarding subscriptions, the AGM and Garden updates. We do not sell, rent or trade email lists with companies or businesses.
Website cookies The LGA website uses cookies to collect information about how people browse our website and the pages viewed. Cookies are text files that contain information and are downloaded to your computer, mobile or other device. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website and allow a website to recognise a user’s device. Your web browser provides you with controls to manage and delete cookies from your device.
How long do we keep personal information? We will retain your personal information until the legal agreement ceases, i.e. when you move out of the legal catchment area – 1–19 Learmonth Gardens,1–23 South Learmonth Gardens, 12 Learmonth Gardens Lane and 1 Learmonth Place.
Use of personal information We do not sell, rent or trade personal information or email lists with companies or businesses. However, there may be circumstances that require LGA to legally provide information, for example in a legal dispute or when a householder is under investigation by a public authority.

Consent In relation to the personal information collected in the subscription form, under Article 6(1) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), LGA can collect personal data without consent if it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.
All properties at 1–19 Learmonth Gardens,1–23 South Learmonth Gardens, 12 Learmonth Gardens Lane and 1 Learmonth Place are legally obliged to maintain the common gardens. This obligation is contained within the Feu Contract between the Trustees of Sir James Steel and Joseph Inglis in the General Register of Sasines on 17 February 1906. This legal obligation on the relevant households is explicit and exclusive.
LGA will ask your consent to be contacted by email. We will only email updates about the Gardens. We will not send you marketing emails or sell, rent or trade email lists with companies or businesses.
Changes to this Privacy Policy LGA reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. If changes are made, we will notify you of these changes.
